weekdays.. i already forgot when it is.. on a computer subject, one of my classmate, Lightzout [link] is browsing some online manga website.. at first, i'm not that interested about that site... but days have passed, i always seeing him browsing the same site everytime he sits in his unit. so i decide to ask him "what's the site?" the site is [link] [link]

while i'm bowsing the site, i see the raging-eyed-girl-avatar.. i click on it coz i think it is a cool image to be an icon of an online manga. and i'm not frustrated for what i expect... coz the comic is great! i'm amazed on how he sketch the characters, the story is so unique, and that's the first time i've seen a comic about the dark version of those popular fairy tales and nursery rhymes.. they've come to life in a plot where "happily ever after" is nowhere to be found.. and i'm amazed about the lead character, RED.. i was astounded on how he made a panel clean and action packed. this online comic is the "EVERAFTER" [link] made by Shaun Healey or popularly known by his screen name: Endling [link]

Everafter is not yet finished. it only had 57 pages.. so i try to find if there is a continuation of the story in other sites.. so i search him in Wiki, and found out that he has a DA account. i feel lucky coz of the fact that i have an account here and it really helps. i'm more amazed coz' i've found out that he really is popular (and his characters) here in DA.. when i open his site and saw his gallery, i am more amazed coz i saw his other characters in his other comics and found them very great just like Everafter.. i mean he's so damn great!

by that time, everytime i open my DA account, (one thing i want to share: i don't have my own internet connection in our house, i'm just renting in a netcafe if i want/need to browse the internet.) i can't leave DA without seeing his artworks, updates and anything about him.. and that's the time that i became active in opening my DA account.. and because i'm very busy with my studies and stuffs, i can't find a time to make some digiart.. i always make sketches and doodles but i can't find a time to render them in Photoshop.. (i don't have my own scanner also ). so i tend to scan my sketches in Lightzout's [link] place.

i was inspired to start making digital art again because of his works.. but still i don't try to copy his style in making characters (i mean, how they look, or his stories), i have my own style, and it was way different on Endling's style. maybe some "dot" of Endling's influence. i watch some experienced artists here in DA for reference purposes. because they have different attacks on how they create their arts, it is a great way to find some helpfull techniques(and merge it on my own style)that i can acquire and help me to grow here in this industry.. and Endling is one of those artists that helped me through his arts..

i want to thank Endling [link] for giving me the inspiration to make digital arts again.. i really learned alot of techniques just by looking (and looking more deeply) on his arts. i love to see my works stepping the next level slowly.. thanks and just want to say that i am really a fan of your works.. they tend to make me hungry to acquire more techniques and advance my skills in making arts..

i know that i'm not the only one that have touched by Endling. we're many and i'm just like a single dot on a pile of sand.

by the way, can i make a fanart of your characters in the future?
